| ...this is not typical of the cave entrances - it just happened to be right next to our top camp. The small spring trickled down the shaft - you can just see the small vegetated patch over the rock in the foreground. This ended abruptly after about 300ft - as soon cont below. |

as you got beyond the reach of the mid day sun there would be ice, great plugs of ice still nor thawed from the winter snows. So hot during the day, it was amazing to find ice like this. Andy Dawe I think, posing in the foreground. |
